Life in Gig Harbor comes alive during the summer. From getting out on the water, to golf at Canterwood, to exploring the beaches of Penrose State Park, there is something for every day of our summer.
Gig Harbor makes it easy to find things to do during all year long. The Galaxy Theater at Uptown, the Tom Taylor YMCA (which has a zero-depth entry pool and active programs all year long) and the Harbor History Museum are all good activities for all ages. There are also regular events throughout the year, such as the Gig Harbor Film Festival, and the productions of Paradise Theatre, our local community theater.
